New patients looking to join us at Eagle Dermatology can start by placing a call to our offices at (208) 391-7210. One of our staff members will help you to find a suitable time and day for your first appointment.

Once you are scheduled, you will receive two emails. The first will be a link to confirm your email address, and then it will prompt you to set up a username and password for our online patient portal, Sadio.

On our patient portal, you can pre fill your medical history from the comfort of your home, saving you time on the day of your appointment. Once you have completed your medical history, you will be able to see a list of your upcoming appointments. To the right of your scheduled appointment will be a list of any consents to review and even sign if you don’t have any questions. After your visit, you can return to this same screen to view any patient counseling that was provided which can be very helpful if you have a complex treatment regimen. Pathology and lab results are also accessible on Sadio.

The second email you will receive is an appointment confirmation email. Our address and all of our contact information will be in this email, as well as encounter specific reminders and policies.

Prior to your visit, you will receive a reminder email as well as a text message appointment reminder. Please be sure to respond to your text message to confirm your appointment as new patient visits require confirmation 24 hours in advance. If you do not confirm by text, we will give you a call to confirm your appointment.

Please be sure to review our office policies and accepted insurance.

Your First Visit:

Please arrive without wearing any makeup or tinted sunscreen as these can limit the providers ability to detect areas of concern.

Your arrival time on the day of your appointment will depend on whether you have been able to pre fill your medical history on the patient portal. If you have, then plan on arriving 5 minutes early. If you have not completed your medical history online, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time.

Please remember to bring your insurance cards and identification to your appointment. When you arrive, we will scan these into your chart, collect your copay, and provide you with a tablet to review your information and sign any consents that may have been overlooked on the patient portal.

Your appointment will begin with a medical assistant taking you to an exam room where your medical history will be verified, and a brief explanation of your medical concerns will be documented. Time for this process is included in your appointment so you can expect to see a provider within 10-15 minutes after your appointment time.

Finally, you’ll get a chance to sit down with one of our providers to begin discussing how we can help you get the skincare you deserve!

Before you leave your exam room, your medical assistant will schedule any necessary follow up visits, provide you a printed copy of your counseling, and send in any prescriptions. When you leave, you will only need to stop and “check out” if you had any cosmetic treatments performed in which case those services will be paid for on the day of your visit.

Any medical procedures and your office visit will be billed to insurance. After your claim has been processed, an invoice will be sent to you by email with link to pay online. If you prefer to receive your statement by text, please let a member of our staff know.

It is our belief that the key to better healthcare is helping patients and providers develop good relationships, which is why we aim to make every step of your encounter, from scheduling to check out as easy and informative as possible. When patients and providers spend more of their visits face to face, patients see better care. Call now at (208) 391-7210 and start your journey to better skincare.
